Laundry Pick-Up & Delivery

On the day/evening of your scheduled pick-up, a Hometown Laundry driver will arrive sometime in the allotted window of time.

You can have your items ready in a bag of your choice (garbage bags, reusable, etc.). Please separate any stained items or items that need special care. 

Make sure to double-check your pockets! Hometown Laundry is NOT responsible for items lost in the wash or damaged by things left in pockets (Chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.).

From there, your laundry will be out of your hands!

Next day, your driver will bring everything back to you during your confirmed delivery time. A text will be sent when your clothes are en route and again once your delivery has been made.

The Hometown Laundry drivers are our employees working in our White Bear Lake laundromat.   

Unlike some other services, we don’t use anonymous drivers from delivery services like Uber.

When you entrust your laundry to Hometown Laundry, you can be sure that it is us arriving at your door to pick up or deliver.

Your laundry pickup/drop off location should be a safe and secure location where you feel comfortable leaving your personal items. While this is different for everyone, customers often leave their orders at their front door, on their porches, or inside a secure, gated area. Please note that our drivers are not able to enter any privately owned spaces or residences, so they are not able to enter your home, apartment, car, garage, etc.

Hey, we get it! These things happen. We send email and text reminders to help make sure you don’t forget, but life can sometimes get in the way.

To compensate for your driver’s time, there will be a $10 missed laundry pick-up fee. We can reschedule the pick-up for the following week – on your normal route day. If you’d like your laundry items washed that week, we can return them later that day or the following day for an additional $10 rush fee.

Your clothes will be returned washed, dried and folded by 6 PM the next day. (Unless your payment method was declined, or you selected a different delivery date)

Yes, there is a $30.00 minimum charge. Our Pickup and Delivery Wash and Fold Laundry Service starts at $2.29 per pound. Additional charges may apply for bulkier items such as comforters, pillows, etc. that require extra dry time and care.

No, there are no contracts. We know you will stay with us as long as we do a good job.

No, we will do that for you. If you are wanting an estimate, you can use your scale by weighing yourself and then weighing yourself holding the laundry. The weight of your clothing is done after it’s been washed and dried using our trade certified scale.
